‘95% done’ – Tottenham now well placed to seal box office signing

Tottenham Hotspur signed 22-year-old Swedish international winger Dejan Kulusevski on loan from Juventus in January.

The young striker has signed an 18-month deal with the London club and Spurs have the option of signing him permanently at the end of the loan deal if he fulfills a few goals with them.

According to a Football Insider report, the player will need to play 20 Premier League games and Spurs will need to finish in the top four for the permanent transfer clause to be triggered.

The report now claims that Tottenham are so impressed with the player that they will sign him permanently no matter what goals he achieves. The deal is rumored to be 95% complete.

The 22-year-old has been a key player for Antonio Conte since joining the club and he’s also been one of the best strikers in the league.

Kulusevski made an immediate impact and showed he had the quality to thrive in the Premier League. He could be a superb player for Tottenham in the long term and it makes sense for them to see him sign him permanently.

The highly rated winger has six goals in 25 Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far.

Apparently, Tottenham will have to pay Juventus a £31million fee to sign the player permanently and that seems like a reasonable price to pay for a player with a high ceiling and huge potential.
